XP also has a compatibility wizard you might be able to run the scanner under M.E. ,2000 ,98,95

I have a visioneer 6100 usb scanner (flatbed). I run windows xp home edition and the driver is no longer compatable with windows xp. Does anyone have any ideas on how i could work my way around not having to use this driver?
